Belnap Consulting LLC ("Belnap Consulting", "I") runs belnapconsulting.com. This policy explains what information I collect, why, and the choices you have.
What I collect.
- When you contact me: your name, email address, business name and anything you write in the form or an email.
- When you visit the site: basic visit information, such as the pages viewed and the site or search that sent you. I use it to see which pages are useful, not to identify you.
- For outreach to businesses: publicly listed business information, such as a business's name, website, work email and phone, which I use to contact businesses that might benefit from my services.
How I use it.
- To reply to you, schedule calls and provide services you ask for
- To send occasional business emails; every one includes a way to opt out
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To keep business and tax records the law requires
I may use AI tools to help research businesses, organize notes and draft messages. I review anything that goes out under my name.
Who I share it with.
I don't sell or rent your information. I share it only with services that help me run the business, such as website hosting, email and my customer records system, and only so they can provide that service. I may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it.
Contact and outreach records stay until you ask me to remove them or they're no longer useful, generally no more than three years. Client records stay as long as tax and business law require.
Your choices.
Reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or use the opt-out link in it, and I'll stop emailing you. Email [email protected] to ask what I hold about you, or to correct or delete it, and I'll respond within 30 days.
Security.
I use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, such as two-step sign-in, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure.
Clients.
If you hire me, the client data and AI-use policy in our agreement governs your business information, and it's stricter than this page.
Children.
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes.
I'll post any changes here and update the date above.
